Level 1: Light Therapy Certification Course / Retreat
Prepares the light therapy student for board certification through the Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences (BAHNS). This course also well prepares the individual light therapy system owner for personal use of the system.
The course covers the fundamentals of light therapy — also known in the field as Photobiomodulation, and LED Light Therapy. The course goes over understanding of energy, understanding of light and light therapy, and covers pad placement and client session.
It also addresses legal-compliance and professional-ethics issues required for board certification and for professional use of the system.

COVID 19 Requirements: Due to Boulder County mandates, participants must either be fully vaccinated (2 weeks after 2nd dose, if applicable) OR show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival at the retreat center. These are subject to change based on state guidance in force at the time of the event.

March 22 (Tuesday): 9 am – 7 pm
March 23 (Wednesday): 9 am – 2 pm
—> Exam from 12 pm – 2 pm on March 23
*Class times will include a lunch break and dinner break. More detailed schedule provided after registration.
COST
$795 – Tuition only – no lodging (Regular Price)
$750 – Tuition only – no lodging (Early Bird Price — Must pay $200 down payment deposit by February 1, 2022; Full payment at least 1 month in advance of class)

ACCOMMODATIONS

REFUND POLICY
Here is our refund policy for the “Light Therapy Certification Course.” Due to COVID 19, travel restrictions, limited space, we have modified our refund policy to the below:
- If you cancel within 14 days of registration, full refund minus $100 processing fee.
- If you cancel prior to 30 days of the start of the class, you are eligible for a 50% refund minus $100 processing fee.
- If you cancel with less than 30 days to the start of the class, no refund is available.
