Level 1: Light Therapy Certification Course / Retreat

Prepares the light therapy student for board certification through the Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences (BAHNS). This course also well prepares the individual light therapy system owner for personal use of the system.

The course covers the fundamentals of light therapy — also known in the field as Polychromatic Light Therapy (PLT), Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), and LED Light Therapy. The course goes over understanding of energy, understanding of light and light therapy, and covers pad placement.

It also addresses legal-compliance and professional-ethics issues required for board certification and for professional use of the system.

Level 2: Light Therapy Certification Course / Retreat

NOTE for CLS designation: *To complete Level 2 you will take this class PLUS The Quantum Academies Anatomy / Physiology course or prove by transcript or license that you have the equivalent in order to apply to BANHS for Certified Light Specialist designation.

Each level is intended to prepare the student for Board Certification at the level. If applying for certification, the student must take and pass an online EXAM administered by The Quantum Academies ($50 fee). Once the Exam is completed, the student may apply to the Board:

Board Certification: www.BANHS.org (Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences) for the official designation and receive a certificate. (Additional fee is paid directly to the Board at each level)

ACCOMMODATIONS

We have moved our office operations, demo space, and presentation location, to our location in Broomfield, CO. Everything is in one place.

Broomfield is just outside of Boulder County between Denver and Boulder, CO. USA

Our location is conveniently located off major HWY 36 and 287 in a business park with easy and ample parking, close to many hotels and restaurants, and only about 35 minutes to Denver International Airport.

Unlike our former location, we do not house our students. We leave this up to the students to arrange their own hotel accommodations—but we will suggest hotels close to our location. There are many hotels close by.
