Level 1: Light Therapy Certification Course / Retreat
Prepares the light therapy student for board certification through the Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences (BAHNS). This course also well prepares the individual light therapy system owner for personal use of the system.
The course covers the fundamentals of light therapy — also known in the field as Polychromatic Light Therapy (PLT), Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), and LED Light Therapy. The course goes over understanding of energy, understanding of light and light therapy, and covers pad placement.
LEVEL 1 PROCESS:
1: Take the Level 1 Course (registration form below)/
3: During the class you will write your PROFESSIONAL ETHICS & INFORMED CONSENT Documents and submit to dottie@energyevents.us
4: Take the Online Exam ($50 exam fee paid to LETS)
5: Apply to www.BANHS.org for Board Certification CLT ($159 certification fee paid to BANHS)
Note: you are now eligible to purchase professional liability insurance that also protects you against malpractice and property damage. See the BANHS.org website for an insurance company who will write your policy if you do not have it through your own carrier.
This course also addresses legal-compliance and professional-ethics issues required for board certification and for professional use of the system.

*Class times will include a lunch break from 1 pm – 2 pm and an afternoon snack break.
COST
$795 – Tuition only – no lodging (Regular Price)
$750 – Tuition only – no lodging (Early Bird Price, full payment at least 1 month in advance of class)

REFUND POLICY
Here is our refund policy for the “Light Therapy Certification Course”
- If you cancel at least 30 days in advance of the first day of the class, full refund minus $100 processing fee.
- If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the total cost of the class (registration tuition).
- If you cancel within 1 week of the first day of the class, no refund is available.
